Brief History

Singapore is a very small country with less than 800 km^2 area, but this is a perfect destination for people who are seeking to travel and observe multicultural communities and their activities freely and conveniently. Singapore was founded in 1819 by ‘Stamford Raffles’ and it was under the direct control of the British Crown until 1963. This is a highly developed country which considered as the only country in Asia with an AAA sovereign rating from all major rating agencies and ranked 9th on the UN Human Development Index.

If you ever got a chance to visit this small magical country, I will recommend the following best places to visit in Singapore.

How to travel inside Singapore?

As a tourist, you have 3 different ways to travel inside Singapore. The first method is by Cab services. You can download Grab or GoJek applications and those are the most popular cab services in Singapore at the moment.
Tip: Try price from two cab services and select the preferred one because cab applications always deciding the price based on the automated algorithm, it is subjected to change!

The Second mode of travel is by Bus. Singapore has a wide range of luxury bus coverage, for a better view, try double-decker.
The third and most effective method is by Train (MRT-Mass Rapid Transit), this is the most advanced transportation mechanism in Asia you will ever experience.

For Buses and Trains, you can you MRT cards, you can buy it from any MRT station for S$ 12.00. After that, you can just tap in out from any Bus or Train easily. Since MRT and Busses almost covering 95% of the country, this is the fast and reliable way for transportation in Singapore. Normally, You can calculate the transportation cost before you planning to come to Singapore. MRT Fare Calculator

Those type of easy and convenient transportation systems makes Singapore as the best places to visit in the world.

1.) Jewell at Changi Airport

Once you landed in Singapore, this is the first place you can visit for free. Jewell is a nature-themed entertainment and retail complex on the landside of Changi Airport. You can relax by the view of the world’s tallest indoor waterfall and the rain Vortex surrounded by forest, you won’t feel that you are in one of the busiest airports in the world.

How to enjoy it?

Once you reach change Airport, go to terminal 3 and you can easily find the way to Jewell. after enjoying the forest don’t forget to view the light show with music at night. Jewell lights and sound system

After that, if you relax enough to deal with more adventures, you can go to the fifth floor in JEWELL and there are several activities you can do in that area. You can walk on a glass bridge, walk on top of nets(which is amazing…!) and smell real flowers and see the beauty of a botanical garden for under 10-20 S$.

2.) China town and Little India

If you are a traveler from Europe, you might love to experience different cultural communities when you are traveling. Singapore is one of the best places to observe several ethnic communities like Chinese, Indians, and Arabs.

How to enjoy it?

Little India and China town are just 2 MRT stations away from each other. You can enjoy those cultural changes within one evening. I’m recommending to visit Little India at around lunchtime and you can spend some time in the Indian Cultural Center to see their unique traditions and you can enjoy your lunch with special Biriyani from any Indian food court for 6-9 s$.

Little India at the festive time

After that, you can visit China town in the evening, it will be better if you try to plan for a night walk. There is a famous food street that you can taste the enormous number of Chinese traditional cuisine. Especially, you can buy lots of souvenirs which are very cheap in China town. Try Sea Food hot pot at any Food Street shops for dinner which is just 13s$ and that will fit for two persons.

3.) Gardens By the Bay

Gardens by the bay

Why this place became one of the best places to visit in Singapore?

One of the major attractions in Singapore is Gardens by the bay which consists of three major attractions that you can visit with the cooled conservatory complex that sits at the edge of Marina Reservoir, which is spread over an area of 20,000 sq. You can reach there by train and the nearest MRT station is Bayfront which is the most convenient way to visit the place.

Cloud Forest is one of the major attraction and you can visit 7 storied hight tropical rain forests and the highest indoor waterfall. Don’t forget to view the premises at misty times. ( entier dome will be covered by the artificial mist which gives you are really cool feeling)

Flower Dome, is consists of more than a thousand varieties of flowers all around the world. They are decorating themes for every season. Christmas theme, Switzerland theme, Flora Fantasy theme are the most famous themes I enjoyed most. You won’t feel any tiredness or sweaty because all domes were constructed as cooled conservatories.

You can buy a ticket online to avoid long queues and redeem on the gate. Klook is a famous and trusted mobile and web application you can use to buy a ticket for an amount less than the price at the gate. To visit both domes, the price is just below 23s$.

If you are ok to spend more 25s$, you can go the rooftop of the gardens by the bay hotel and enjoy the top view of the harbor, entier gardens by the bay and colorful cities in Singapore.

The best rides which I can recommend are Mummy, Galactica, Jurassic Park, and Transformers. You can enjoy more than 18 attractions within Universal studio premises and It will take an entire day to enjoy it completely. Don’t forget to experience Galactica super speed roller coaster with more than 720-degree rotation which is amazingly crazy.

5.) Famous Night Safari by a tramp

Night Safari gate

You might already be at the zoo in your country, but I bet you, you might never experience how the zoo might look like at night??. You can experience that unique attraction with the night safari. I’m recommending to get a book a cab because, of course, it is far away from the city and try a tramp journey which gives you relax feelings and while you are watching animals, they will explain several facts regarding those animals.
To complete one trip around the night area by the tramp, you will spend nearly 45 minutes to 1 hour.

6.) Newly added Rainforest Lumina

Rainforest Lumina

After you finish the Singapore Zoo night safari, you can walk to the rainforest lumina, which was newly introduced to the Singapore Zoo. (you can visit their web site to see more details and book tickets- here ). You will feel that you are in a fantasy world and the surrounding darkness will multiply your feelings.

You can walk in the given path which marked by colorful lights and when you are walking pay attention to some holograms, some animals trying to tell you a nice story in every segment inside the area. You will need at least 1 hour to finish the pathway inside the Rain forest lumina.

7.) Kusu Island

Kusu Island- St. john island beach

This is not much famous attraction in Singapore, but If you like to visit a nice beach, this is a perfect one. You can take a ferry from Marina South Pier to KusuIsland, Ferry tickets vary from 7s$ to 16 s$. One Important thing is, you should bring all the needed food if you like to chill with alcohol any preferred brand 🙂 and I recommend you to bring a portable tent to get a relaxing evening beside a beautiful beach.

Wave-shaped 36-m pedestrian bridge connecting Mount Faber Park to Telok Blangah Hill Park and this place is an iconic place in Singapore. because of the unique architecture, you will see Handerson bridge in a lot of Singapore movies and TV shows as a location.

In the event that mesothelioma is actually a rogue virus-like infection, in that case there is the potential for developing a vaccine in addition to offering vaccination for asbestos uncovered people who are vulnerable to high risk of developing long run asbestos relevant malignancies. Thanks for expressing your ideas on this important health issue.
